Boss Design, a high-quality furniture design and manufacturing company, invited us to work on the design and fit-out of their reception area and new boardroom.
The reception space, including new staircase needed to reflect their business identity, using the best quality materials and keeping the design minimal and classic.
As the space led to multiple different entrances it worked well to use a crittal style glass with a reed glaze effect, to create a soft partition enclosing the space and wrapping around the beautiful reception furniture.
The natural tones of the large porcelain floor tile were a perfect choice, demonstrating a subtle yet meticulous surface detail taking inspiration from Portuguese and Catalan limestone.
Colours were neutral and warming throughout, with a soft glow on the textured surfaces from the stunning pendant lighting.
The boardroom was originally two rooms and needed to be knocked through to create one large space for the boardroom table and casual seating area. Part of the client brief was to strip back the existing suspended ceiling, creating an exposed, textured concrete ceiling that we painted in a soft white.
To further soften the look and feel, we added curtain voiles around the perimeter of the room, this created a gentle contrast whilst offering additional acoustic values.
The furniture & finishes were intricately selected to compliment the design, creating a relaxed, peaceful dual-purpose space.
