Global confectionary company, Ferrero chose Ashlar Projects to design and refurbish their reception at their Thornton’s UK Chocolate manufacturing site. The refurbished reception area was specifically designed to reflect the global brand. Hence, the concept colours used reflected the dark background with golden accents used in the companies Ferrero Rocher chocolate packaging. The twisted ceiling light pendents give the optical illusion of being two seperate rings. This design element was specifically chosen to look like the golden ring around the Ferrero Rocher logo. Five independent LED pendent lights with gold leaf effect finish hang above the reception area creating an elegant, stylish and eye catching design feature on arrival at the building. The bespoke reception desk and offset cladding panels behind the reception desk include LED strip lighting to add interest and texture. Also included in the fit-out was new aluminium glazed automatic entrance doors, floor coverings including entrance barrier matting printed with the Ferrero logo and bespoke metal framed hexagonal feature ceiling.
