This FTSE 100 Fintec Company required their Global Datacentre Control Room to be completely refurbished. With no external windows the space had no natural light and was beginning to affect employee wellbeing.
An updated ceiling & lighting system was installed along with new flooring design and electrically operated sit-stand desks all designed at improving employee wellbeing.
The design concept revolved around connection and the flow of data, which was illustrated in the lighting layout. We used suspended linear lighting, with an angled and connected layout across the space to create a modern tech office. All the lights within the space are connected whilst the angles added interest in the form of shape and direction, with such a high ceiling this gave them the visual interest above that was previously missing.
Using linear lights gave a contemporary feel whilst suspending them created a sense of a false ceiling making the space feel private & intimate whilst being a completely exposed ceiling. The acoustic panels bring through the companies brand colours whilst providing practical sound absorption in the environment
