This Industrial Warehouse Canteen Servery was designed not only as a relaxed and functional canteen but also as an additional agile workspace that can be used for informal meetings. All the banquette seating included power modules for individual working as well as the 4 person booths where small informal meetings could take place throughout the working day.
Biophilic design included plants for interest and to bring a sense of nature indoors as well as improve employee well-being. The Old Masters printed wall covering adds a sense of fun.
The space is divided into separate zones for dining and flexible working to provide an inclusive space for all employees. The central raised platform is inspired by a shipping container and uses folded steel profile sheets on the corner posts and the vinyl flooring uses a checker plate inspired design.
