The back of house washrooms at The Dorchester Hotel are on the basement level of the premises. Lighting has been a key part of the design, using feature LED recessed lights over walkways and illuminated mirrors at wash stations, creating a feel of an overall brighter ambience. The wood effect lockers and panelling give off a warmth to the space, complimented with pastel green gloss tiles & accent walls creating a zen like feel.
The presence of marble effect within a large ceramic tile introduces a sophisticated dimension to the washroom interior. A long, smooth trough style sink ties together the classic look and feel.
The grooming station offers a compact and easy to use area for on-the-go staff members. Fitted out with luxury wood effect panelling, contrasted with duck egg green shelving and worktop, dressed with hair dryers and holders for ease of use and a bespoke built towel drop and cupboard for storage below.
The washroom design exhibits a harmonious blend of functional elements, light and warming aesthetics and an environment conducive to a feeling of calm and well-being.
